David McDiarmid works across the fields of art, curation and fabrication.
Born in Paisley, he grew up in Ayr and studied Painting at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen 2009-2013 before completing an MLitt in Curatorial Practice between Glasgow School of Art and University of Glasgow 2018-2019.
His studio is currently based at Rogart Street Campus in Glasgow and he splits his time working between 3 different projects:

With a current focus on food history, David’s studio produces collections of affordable, original handmade artworks including, paintings, prints, ceramics and sculptures.
Artists’ Tuck Shop
Run by David, Artists’ Tuck Shop is a vehicle for supporting fellow artists based in Scotland by selling specially commissioned and curated artist-made products on their behalf.
A mould-making and casting studio run by David in order to assist fellow artists and makers by offering ready-made and bespoke moulds for casting.
