Wasps Spring Market
Wasps Makers Markets are back with the first market of the year at The Briggait in Glasgow. We will be welcoming up to 90 makers into the historic 1873 Hall for a weekend full of art and craft.
Join us then to shop from Scotland's most talented artisans selling ceramics, paintings, prints, textiles, glass, jewellery and more.

Pop Up Design Store x Artists' Tuck Shop
Every few months Artists' Tuck Shop transforms funky spaces into one-day-only physical shops featuring specially curated selections of gifts and homewares handcrafted by local artists, makers and designers.
For our next Pop Up Design Store we'll be returning to the wonderful Blackhill Bakery on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow with another fabulous line-up of talented makers. For this one we've got handmade ceramics from Studio Yōki and Jay Frazer, a great selection of prints from Kieron Redmond, Alan Campbell and Tenetiles, super fun animal related pin badges and prints from Tom Hardwick, beautiful jewellery from RR Designs and Nmarra, lovely tapestries from Freya Mabel Makes, funky embroidery kits from Lucy Freeman, and fun gifts for foodies from David McDiarmid Studio. Summerhall Makers Market
Following on from the success of Summerhall’s Big Christmas Weekend, they’ll be hosting quarterly Makers Markets to showcase fantastic makers – from Edinburgh and beyond – beginning this Spring.
Featuring a rotating medley of stall holders past and present, you’ll be guaranteed to find artisanal, handmade and high quality goods – and with free entry to the market, you’ll have a brand new offering each time to peruse at your leisure!

For one weekend this December, Wasps Studios are bringing together ninety stall holders for the Wasps Winter Market in the historic 1873 Hall at The Briggait.
Support the fantastic artists and craftspeople from across Scotland – jewellers, ceramicists, textile makers, painters, printmakers and the rest – by purchasing something totally unique for a loved one (or yourself!) this festive season.
More details of stall holders of stall holders will be announced closer to the time of the event but David McDiarmid Studio will be there!
Wasps Winter Market - Day 1
For one weekend this December, Wasps Studios are bringing together ninety stall holders for the Wasps Winter Market in the historic 1873 Hall at The Briggait.

Strange Field Christmas Market
Christmas market featuring a group of local artists and makers. Strange Field will be running a bar serving hot and cold, soft and alcoholic drinks. Cabbage will be running a bake sale. A raffle will also take place to raise funds for Medical Aid in Palestine, featuring donated works from each of the makers involved as prizes.

Park Lane Market at Platform
Normally popping up on the 1st and last Sunday of the month on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow, Park Lane Market will be hosting a selection of special Christmas markets at the wonderful Platform in Glasgow City Centre alongside the Secondhand Wonderland Market. Art Car Boot Sale
SWG3 have announced that the Art Car Boot Sale, one of Scotland’s biggest and best events dedicated to contemporary art, will return this June for its fifth edition - and you’ll be able to find us there!
This exciting showcase of contemporary art, which runs across Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June, brought to you by Patricia Fleming Gallery and SWG3 brings together over seventy renowned artists from across Scotland and beyond, and transforms the venue into a melting pot of creativity.
The Art Car Boot Sale is curated by a team of industry professionals, and gives visitors a unique opportunity to meet artists in person as they sell their artwork from their studios direct from the boots of cars, vans, bikes — and the odd skateboard.
Art will be on offer from award winning artists and Turner Prize nominees with work in major collections around the world, as well as emerging stars of the future. The event is aimed to be affordable and have something for everyone, so prices will range from £5 to £5000. The gallery also partners with Art Money to support interest free purchases over 10 months available for items £1000 and over.
The first artists confirmed for 2023 include Claire Barclay, Tessa Lynch, Toby Paterson, James Rigler and Kate V Robertson with the full list to follow soon.
There will also be a wide selection of food and drink available from some of our favourite street food vendors, and with it being child and dog friendly it’s an event for all the family.

The Night Market
The Night Market UK returns to Glasgow on Thursday 1st of June, where Partickhill’s breathtaking Cottiers will be transformed into a glittering late-night emporium bringing the very best local traders to make one homegrown extravaganza!
In true Night Market style, they’re taking over the whole venue: in the Attic there will be a special showcase of local artists and artisans, jewellers and designers, bakers and candlestick makers; Outside, scrumptious street food to fill your bellies, bars to whet your whistles; And on the ground floor in the theatre you’ll find local makers (including David McDiarmid Studio!), bakers, and vintage magpies taking you through the very finest fashions of the past sixty years!
And if that wasn’t enough, the gorgeous Cottiers acoustics will be put to good use with a live DJ to soundtrack your late-night rummage through the very best the region has to offer!
