Aubergine Colour Jesmonite Placemats

Beautiful handmade aubergine colour placemats and table mats for your dinner table by David McDiarmid Studio. Each placemat measures approx. 22.5cm (diam) x 1cm (h).

I make these by handmixing each colour using powder pigments with a special marble effect jesmonite which I then cast in a specially made placemat mould. Each placemat is then sanded and polished to a nice sheen and fitted with cork pads to prevent scratching table tops. Finally each placemat is coated with a stain resistant sealant.
